Helped with St. Joseph Class 3A 1995 State Champions under Frank Amato, and 3 straight years with undefeated record under Phil Teegarden; served one year at Thule Air Base, Greenland, to check movement of the Russian Air Force coming over North Pole; first to put flags on top of goal post at St. Joe in 1966.
Merit Contributor - Team Chaplain: For 37 years has been football chaplain at South Bend St. Joseph High School; also coached Ft. Wayne Dwenger freshmen team 2 years with an undefeated record of 9-0; South Bend St. Joseph's freshman coach 15 years, with one undefeated season; with both schools, teams had a total record of 90-26.
