Coaching Experience: Football coach at Sacred Heart HS in Indianapolis 1948-1957; assistant football coach at Indianapolis Tech HS 1958-1966 and at Indianapolis Arlington HS 1968; also served as a basketball coach at Sacred Heart and Tech; retired from coaching at the end of 1968 season.
Coaching Honors: Started football program at Sacred Heart; had 2 undefeated seasons, 1952 and 1954, and an 8-1 record in 1950 and 1951; Co-City Champs (with Cathedral HS) 1954; named Co-City Coach of the Year 1952.
Outstanding Players Coached: Bob and Jim Prestel, U of Idaho; Joe Kelly at Butler; John Nell, Gary Kennedy, and Dave Sexson who all played professionally in NFL.
