Coaching Experience: Served as assistant football coach at Northside Junior HS, Cascade HS, Indianapolis Tech HS; assistant coach 1977 and head coach 1978-2011 at Heritage Hills HS, with a record of 320-74; retired from coaching at the end of the 2011 season.

Coaching Honors: Was ranked 32nd in nation in winning percentage over a 15 year period; Pocket Conference Champs 1979, 1980, 1982, 1983, 1987, 1988, 1992-1995, 1997-2007, 2009, 2010; Sectional Champs 1996, 1997, 2000-2007, 2009; Regional Champs 1996, 2000-2005, 2007; Semi-State Champs 2000, 2004; Class 3A State Champions 2000; had the 3rd longest regular season winning streak in state history of 59 games; assistant coach for South All-Stars 1989 and head coach 1998.
