Upon graduation, Rosevelt accepted a football scholarship to Purdue, where he became an All-Big
Ten performer in 1997 and 1998 as well as was Most Valuable Player of the 1998 Alamo Bowl.
Rosevelt was rewarded for his exceptional play at Purdue by being a fourth- round draft pick by the Chicago Bears in 1999. During his time with the Bears, he posted consecutive years of double-digit sacks and was named to the Bears All- Decade Team.
After playing with the Bears, Rosevelt was signed by the New England Patriots. In spite of a season ending injury with the Patriots, Rosevelt’s mantra of hard work paid off as he overcame injury and was an integral part of two Super Bowls won by the Patriots.
Rosevelt and his wife, Tiffany have 4 children: Xavier, Raven, Myles and Nijah.
As a teenager growing up in Indianapolis who worked in the concession area at the RCA Dome during events, Rosevelt Colvin learned the value of hard work that work ethic would carry him throughout his life and football career. As a Broad Ripple Rocket, Purdue Boilermaker, Chicago Bear, and New England Patriot, Rosevelt’s belief of “just keep working to become better than you were yesterday” led to his outstanding accomplishments.
