3-year football letterman; 2 years as quarterback starter with 20 wins, over 40 points per game, 40 TD passes; All-Northern Indiana Conference 1992, 1993; AP All-State 1993; Bloomington Herald-Tribune Top 33 1993; played on North All-Star team 1994; numerous football scholarship opportunities.

Freshman starter 1995 with 126.9 QB rating until redshirted due to broken hand; started first 11 games 1996 with 126.7 QB rating, 2920 passing yards (3rd in Big 10), 12 TDs (4th in Big 10), 7.5 yds/attempt (2nd in Big 10); injuries hampered 1997 and into 1998 production; upon return had 209.2 QB rating.
Since retiring from professional football, has served as a teacher at Austin High School; grandfather, Edwin Ehlers, and uncle, Tom Ehlers, preceded him into Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
Wife, Mecca; son, Davis.
Professional Athletic Background: Played 5 years - Oakland Raiders as starting quarterback until ankle broken; Buffalo Bills; Detroit Lions; Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe, going to World Bowl Championship game.

Coaching Experience: Currently serves as offensive coordinator at Austin, Texas, high school.
