Coaching Honors: At Hamilton Southeastern - undefeated seasons in 1978, 1979, 1981, earning Rangeline Conference Championships each year; won 3 Sectionals, 2 Regionals, 1 State Runner-up, and 1 State Championship; at Bloomington - South Central Conference Championships 1983, 1985; won 2 Sectionals, 2 Regionals, reached final 4 in 1983 and 1985; IFCA Region 8 and Rangeline Conference Coach of the Year 1978, 1979, 1981; Hamilton County, Indianapolis Oldtimers, and Butler University Alumni Football Coach of the Year 1979, 1981.
