Inducted into following 8 Halls of Fame - Sullivan High School, Wabash Valley Conference, Indiana State University, Franklin College, NAIA, NCAA, Georgetown College, National Football Foundation, and Indiana Football Hall of Fame; also served as Athlectic Director at Franklin College for 20-plus years; served as Chairman of Physical Education Department for 16-plus years, where he also served as a full professor in the department.

Coaching Experience: Assistant coach at South Bend Riley 1948-1951; head coach at Linton-Stockton HS in Linton, IN, 1952-1954; head coach at Clinton HS in Clinton, IN, 1955-1956; head coach at Franklin College 1957-88, with record of 120-99-4.
Coaching Honors: Twice named Coach of the Year, Hoosier College Conference; named Coach of the Year, Heartland College Conference 1980; Mineral Water Bowl Champion 1970; NAIA Semi-finalist 1972; in 15 of 17 years, Franklin College QB ranked in top ten passers in NAIA; 1980 FC Grizzlies ranked #2 in pass offense in Division II of NCAA.
Outstanding Players Coached: Tom Allen, Terry Hoeppner, J.R. Bishop, Dana Standefer, Phil Powell, Brad Crawford, and many others.
