4-year letterman in football, basketball, and baseball; NIHSC Football Co-Champs 1960 and Champions 1961; play-off Champions 1961 with an undefeated team; All-Conference 1961; 1st Team All-Sectional 1962 in basketball.

1st Team All-Conference 1963, 1964; Most Valuable Player 1964; 2nd Team All-Conference 1965; 1st Team All-American by Coaches Association, Sportswriters of America, and TV Guide; invited to play in the East-West Game and Hula Bowl Game after senior year but could not due to knee surgery; became top pass receiver for quarterback, Bob Griese; in 1963-1965, had total receptions of 1,391 yards.
Retired from the FBI after 27 years of service .
