Coaching Honors: Coach of the Year in SAC 1990; Coach of the Year at Indianapolis two times; was North-South All-Star head coach in 1977 and assistant coach in 1992.
Outstanding Players Coached: B. U. Schuldz of Bellmont, Nate Tubbs of Wayne, and Leonard Taylor, Nathan Strahern, and Courtney Roby of North Central.
