Coaching Experience: Butler freshman football, 1967; assistant coach of offensive and defensive lines and defensive coordinator at Chatard HS 1968-1972 with 45-5 record, at Carmel HS 1973-1984 with 123-18 record, and at Ben Davis HS 1985-1986 with 8-11 record; retired from coaching.
Coaching Honors: Chatard won 2 City Championships and had two 10-0 seasons; Carmel had a tournament record of 14-4, was 1975 State Runner-up, and in 1978, 1980, 1981 won State Championships with undefeated seasons; coached numerous players who became D1 - D3 collegiate players; received Butler B-Men Special Recognition to an Assistant Coach.
