Merit Contributor - Fundraiser: As a community-minded individual, and without a son playing football, Raymond founded the Crown Point High School Football Quarterback Club, serving as president of the club for over 20 years. The club raised funds for supplies for the football team and made sure players had a great experience while on the Crown Point team. Organized fundraisers ranged from Bingo to Texas Hold 'Em games to golf outings at several area clubs, with funds made available to honor players and the extended Crown Point football family through cookouts, spaghetti dinners, end-of-season banquet with awards, and other events. His work with the club continued in spite of a ten-year battle with cancer.
