Senior 1st team All-State Quarterack 1974; Junior 1st team All-State Quarterback 1973; NIVC All-Conference Quarterback 1973 and 1974; team offensive MVP 1974; played on North squad of 1975 North-South All-Star game and named MVP; holds 18 offensive records, including 11 passing records, and second in 4 other records; 18-2 record as starting quarterback; was also basketball team MVP 1974-1975 season; collegiate goal - to play at Notre Dame where his father started at left tackle on 1949 National Championship team.
