Professional Athletic Background: Played one year with the Green Bay Packers as a right guard and occasional punter.

Coaching Experience: South Bend Central head football coach 28 years, 1935-1963, with a record of 123-57-12; also, served 15 years as wrestling coach.

Coaching Honors: Had 3 undefeated seasons 1958, 1959, 1960; 5 Northern Indiana Eastern Division Conference Championships; 3 overall Northern Indiana Conference Championships; 2 State Championships; also, 7 Northern Indiana Conference Wrestling Championships; 1 State Wrestling Championship.
