Coaching Experience: Assistant coach 1979-1980 at Monrovia HS and head coach 1981-1990; teams were West Central Conference Champions 1986, 1990 and Sectional Champions 1990; head coach at Avon HS 1991-1999; team was Mid-State Conference Champion 1991, 1993, and from 1994 to 1999; Avon teams were Sectional and Regional Champions in 1991, 1995, and 1997.
Coaching Honors: Named Metro West Coach of the Year in 1987, 1990, and 1995; Indianapolis Star All-Suburban Coach of the Year in 1991; North-South All-Star Game assistant coach in 1991 and 1998; Indianapolis Colts Coach of the Week in 1998; career record of 152-52.
