Played on the 1973, 1975, and 1976 State Champion Football teams; Honorable Mention Northern IN Catholic All-Star Team 1974; First Team Northern IN Catholic All-Star Team 1975, 1976; All-State Defensive End 1975; AP All-State First Team Tight End, UPI All-State First Team Defensive End, New World Prep All-American Football Team, and Joe Namath’s National Prep Sports Honorable Mention All-American 1976; Italian American High School Athlete of the Year through Unico of Michiana 1977; full scholarship to U of A.

Played on 1977, 1978, and 1979 Southeast Conference Championship teams, and 1978, 1979 National Championship teams coached by the late Paul "Bear" Bryant; started and played in all but 2 games over 4-year career rotating in and out at defensive end position and on special teams, losing only 4 games in college career.
Wife, Rose; children, Clinton, Anthony, Joseph, and Megan.
Coaching Experience: Assistant football coach for ICCL Mishawaka Catholic B Team 1990-2001; ICCL Mishawaka Catholic head football coach from 2002 to time of his induction; teams were 1990 ICCL Mishawaka Catholic Champions and runner-up in 1992 and 2005.
