Played on 1977, 1978, and 1979 Southeast Conference Championship teams, and 1978, 1979 National Championship teams coached by the late Paul "Bear" Bryant; started and played in all but 2 games over 4-year career rotating in and out at defensive end position and on special teams, losing only 4 games in college career.

Coaching Experience: Assistant football coach for ICCL Mishawaka Catholic B Team 1990-2001; ICCL Mishawaka Catholic head football coach from 2002 to time of his induction; teams were 1990 ICCL Mishawaka Catholic Champions and runner-up in 1992 and 2005.
