Coaching Honors: As head football coach, record of 131-76-2; 2 undefeated, untied seasons with 1 at Brazil and 1 at Lafayette Jeff; Western Indiana Conference Champions for 2 years; North Central Conference Championship in 1966; North Central Conference Coach of the Year 1966; recommended for Indiana Football Coaches Association Coach of the Year.
