Professional Athletic Background: Selected in 3rd round of 1968 NFL draft by Minnesota Vikings; played as a linebacker for Vikings 1968-1970; traded to St. Louis Cardinals in 1971, then to Houston Oilers in 1973; returned to St. Louis and retired in 1974 due to injury.
Professional Athletic Honors: Played on three Central Division Championship teams and one NFL Championship team, which lost to Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl IV in 1970.
