Sold Meador’s Fitness Center and retired in 2006; was a major leader and a forerunner in developing players and programs through a year-round weight and conditioning program; served in the US Army and was a member of the Lawrenceburg American Legion.
Wife, Zoe; daughters, Michelle (Butch) and Bonnie (Alfie); 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
Coaching Experience: Coached at Bicknell, North Knox, Fort Wayne North, and Lawrenceburg High Schools for a total of 21 years; career record of 137-20-2.
Coaching Honors: State Champions in 1975 and 1978; State Runner-up in 1976; Sectional Champions 1975-1981; had 8 undefeated seasons; 59 game regular season win streak; E.I.A.C. Champions in 11 of 12 seasons at Lawrenceburg; Class A Coach of the Year in 1975 and 1978.
