3-year starter at running back, setting several school records; Junior All-State football 1970; Senior All-State football 1971; Marion County All-County football 1970, 1971; Team MVP 1970, 1971; Co-captain 1971; named Co-Athlete of the Year for Marion County 1972; career records 1969-1971 of 220 points scored, total rushing yards 3,124 yards on 449 carries; also played baseball and wrestled.

4-year letterman/starter at running back; team MVP 1975; All-Conference 1975; among Top 15 in school history with 978 rushing yards in a season; team qualified for 1975 NCAA Division II college play-offs, a first for ICC.
Served as a middle school PE teacher and coach at Perry Township's Meridian Middle School and Franklin Central Middle School; also served as a high school football official; had retired from teaching; inducted into University of Indianapolis Football Hall of Fame 2006.
