Eric played football at Indiana University
Eric has been named Indiana High School Football Coach of the Year 7 times, 2000, 2008, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020 and 2022. Eric was the Indiana All-Star football coach in 2002 and 2023. In addition, he was a 2006 Assistant Coach for the East-West Army All-American game. He was the 2015 Max Preps Coach of the Year, 2020 All-American Bowl Coach of the Year, 2020 Indianapolis Colts Coach of the Year, 2022 National High School Athletic Association Coach of the Year. He was also the Indiana Football Coaches Association nominee for the National High School Federation Coach of the Year in 2022.
Eric has 5 children, Tyson, Hannah, Jackson, Hayden and Sydney
Coach Moore has been the head coach at 2 high schools in 39 years of teaching. He has been the head coach at Center Grove High School for 24 years. In that time, the program has won 17 Sectionals, 16 Regionals, 8 Semi-State Championships. In addition, the program has added 3 State Runner-up finishes and 5 State Championships. Before arriving at Center Grove, they had only 1 Sectional title.
