Charter Member of the National Athletic Trainers Association; member of the Helms Foundation Hall of Fame; Silver Medal Award winner from the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame; received Sports Magazine Award for Outstanding Community Service in Athletics; wrote a column RX-Sports Medicine" in Indiana News; in 1964 became one of the first athletic trainers to work in a clinical setting; inducted into the NATA Hall of Fame in 1969."
