While at Franklin College, Kevin led the nation in passing.
His coaching career started as the off coordinator at Crown Point from 1988-93, where he helped lead the Bulldogs to two sectional championships and a regional championship. O'Shea landed his first head coaching job at Delta from 1993-98, where he posted a 29-15 record before he returned to his alma mater McCutcheon in 1999. O'Shea helped the Mavericks win a sectional title in 2002 as he coached the school's only Mr. Football, Clayton Richard. O'Shea's tenure at Central Catholic between 2008-2016 was nothing short of immaculate. The Knights went 114-10 in his 9 seasons, including finishing undefeated four times and winning seven sectional titles and six regional titles in addition to the five state championships. After one of the most impressive stints in IHSAA history at Central Catholic, O'Shea took the HC job at North Central, where he went 11-3 in his first season.
