Executive Director of YMCA in South Bend 1980-1985; "Color Man" on Westwood One (Mutual) Radio 1985-2000; worked three years at station WSBT; became affiliated with Varsity Clubs of America in 2000; member of Summit County Hall of Fame, Akron, OH; member of Miami University Hall of Fame, Oxford, OH; has written three books - Era of Ara, The Phantom Letters, and Petals from a Rose; has spoken at over 3000 different venues.

Professional Athletic Background: Drafted by Cleveland Browns; traded to Green Bay, with chance to play for Eagles; retired from football in 1980 while with Kansas City Chief's staff.

Coaching Experience: Beginning in 1955, coached for 3.5 years on an Air Force team while also playing for that team; coached at Akron's North HS 1959-1960; assistant coach at Northwestern under Parseghian 1960-1964; backfield coach and offensive coordinator under Parseghian 1964-1975; served on staff of Kansas City Chiefs 1978-1979.

Outstanding Players Coached: Two All-Americans; John Hurate, who won Heisman Trophy.
