Merit Contributor - Team Physician: While doing medical internship at Illinois Masonic Hospital 1964-1965, worked with team physician for the Chicago Bears, Dr. Ted Fox; worked as fill-in physician for the Indiana Pacers of the ABA 1967-1968; worked as ringside physician for Indianapolis Golden Gloves 1968; served as team physician - for Derby, KS, HS football team 1969-1970 while serving two years in Air Force; for Madison, IN, HS football and basketball teams 1971-1974; for Hanover College football team 1971-1974; for Munster, IN, HS 1975-2008; for Purdue University Calumet basketball team 1980-1985; over 33 years service to the Munster athletic community and over 41 years total service to Indiana sports as a team physician until retiring in 2009.
