Coaching Experience: Coached all sports at Clinton HS 1922-1923, with football record of 4-2-2; football coach at Terre Haute Garfield HS 1923-1946, with record of 75-51-14; total career points at Clinton and Garfield of 1,761, with opponents having 1,224; also coached basketball, baseball, and track.

Coaching Honors: Wabash Valley Association Champs 1935; many Wabash Valley and Indiana State honors by team players.
