11 Conference Championships. 7 Sectional Championships. 3 Regional Championships. 2 Semi-State Championships. 2 State Championships (Zionsville '87, Fishers '10). Rick became only the 4th coach in Indiana history to win Football State Championships at two different schools. Active member of the IFCA since 1979 and serving the membership in multiple offices including All-Star Chairman, IFCA Clinic Committee Co-Director, and Region 8 Hall of Fame Selection Committee. Career coaching record of 263-144 (.646). Assistant Coach 3 times ('86,'88,'92) and Head Coach (2011) of the North-South All-Star game. Won the inaugural IFCA Dave Land Coach of the Year Award (2010) and Indianapolis Colts nominee for the NFL Don Shula Award (2010). Was an AFCA Power of Influence Award nominee and finalist (2011).
Rick has two children, a daughter, Cori and a son, Clint.
