Quarterback of undefeated freshman football team 1957; 3-year varsity football letterman; mythical State Champions 1958; 98 yard touchdown run 1960, a school record that still stands; All-City 1960; 3-year varsity letterman in basketball and track; named Manual's Outstanding Senior Athlete 1961.

Attended ICC on an athletic scholarship; participated in football, basketball, and track 1961-1962; football - played quarterback, halfback, wide receiver, and punter; All-Conference (HCC) 1962; offensive back MVP and team MVP 1962, 1964; offensive back MVP 1963; All-NAIA and All-Conference 1964; led conference in passing, rushing, receiving, and punting after 7 games in 1964; track - member of HCC Champion Mile Relay team.
Business career as a sales representative in sporting goods 1972-2009; co-founder of S.O.S. Football Camp 1998 and continues to serve with S.O.S.; created "Shoe Mobile" to bring shoes and accessories to players at their local schools; primary donor/sponsor for jerseys and equipment for North-South All-Stars; recipient of Indiana Football Coaches Region 7 Plaque of Appreciation 1987; head coach of several youth and amateur football teams including Warren Township 1976-1977, Warren Tomahawks 1978-1984.
