Was leading receiver sophomore and senior years; led Big Ten in receptions and set IU records for season receptions, yardage, and single game touchdown passes; team Most Valuable Player; First Team Academic All-American; started as wide receiver in North-South Game in 1972; graduated with high distinction from School of Business with a Business-Economics Degree; was on Dean's list every semester; elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Fraternity.
Practiced law with Sommer & Barnard in Indianapolis until 1992; developed an office for Kennedy, Whitney & Company, a management buy-out firm with headquarters in New York; currently Chairman of the Board; active in church work and enjoys golf.
Professional Athletic Background: Drafted by Pittsburgh Steelers in 1973 and played behind All-Pro Flanker Ron Shanklin his rookie year; played with New York Giants in 1974; joined the Calgary Stampeders in 1975; played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1976.
