Coaching Honors: NHC Coach of the Year 1999; ACAC Coach of the Year; Ft. Wayne newspapers Coach of the Year 1980; teams won 4 Conference Championships, 4 Sectionals, 1 Regional, and 1 Semi-state; had 20 winning seasons in his 24 years as head coach; career football coaching record was 161-90.
