During his time at St. Charles West High School, Billy Seymour showcased his versatility by playing multiple positions on the JV and Varsity Football Team, including QB, DE, Punter, and Kicker. He also earned a spot on the varsity basketball team, which clinched the 1995 4A Missouri State Championship. Following his sophomore year, Billy relocated with his family to Mishawaka, IN, settling in Granger. At Penn High School, he flourished under the guidance of legendary coach Chris Geesman, particularly benefiting from Defensive Line Coach Cory Yeoman's mentorship. Billy also played two years of Varsity Basketball, crediting Coach Pete Smith for his leadership and athletic development. Billy, a two-year starter at Defensive End and Punter, contributed to his team's consecutive 5A State Championships in 1995 and 1996, leading in sacks both years with 14 and 13, respectively.

After high school, Billy earned a full football scholarship to the Universityof Michigan, where he was part of the 1997 National Championship Team and a three-time Big Ten Champion. He participated in prestigious bowls like the Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, and three Citrus Bowls. Transitioning from Defensive End to Tight End for the Rose Bowl in 1997, he became a four-year letterman and a two-year starter at tight end, receiving All Big Ten Honorable Mention Honors in 2001. He also played in the 2002 Hula Bowl All Star Game in Maui,HI. Billy graduated from the University of Michigan in December 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management and Communications, expressing gratitude to Coaches Lloyd Carr, Mike DeBord, and Andy Moeller for their guidance.
Notable accolades include Northern Indiana All-Conference 1st Team DE and Punter, All-Area Dream Team DE and Punter, and selections to various prestigious teams including IFCA Top 50 All-State, IFCA Junior 1st Team All-State, and AP 1st Team All-State. He was also recognized as a USA Today All-American Honorable Mention Defensive End and participated in the North/South All-Star Game. Billy was an All-Big Ten Tight End in 2001.
He and his wife Meghan, a fellow Michigan graduate and former U of M softball team member, have two children, Reilly (14) and Raegan (11). They now live in Maple Grove, MN, where Billy enjoys coaching his kids in football, basketball, and baseball.
Billy joined the Green Bay Packers as a Free Agent in 2002, playing as a TE/FB on the practice squad and participating in four pre-season games.
