Coaching Honors: Martinsville team had 5 undefeated seasons, 11 South Central Conference Championships, 4 Sectional Championships, and 2 State Semi-final appearances; 12-time recipient of South Central Conference Coach of the Year; Martinsville was 1992 State Passing Champion with the "run and shoot" offense; South All-Star assistant coach 1975; Ball State Alumnus Coach of the Year 1971-1972.
