One of first high school team physicians in Northwest Indiana; member of American College of Sports Medicine; instrumental in developing Sports Medicine Department at Hammond Clinic and developing fitness program in Calumet region; practiced family medicine 45 years at the Hammond Clinic.
Wife, Darlene (deceased 12-6-2018); children, Brent (Linda), Shari (Dan, deceased; David), and Craig (Cindy); several grandchildren.
