Coaching Experience: Assistant track coach at Ohio University 1962-1963; assistant football and track coach at Ben Davis HS 1963-1964; head football coach at Warren Central, Indianapolis, 1973-1988, head track coach 14 years, and athletic director for 14 years at the time of his induction; retired from coaching in 1988 with a career record of 115-44 (72%).
Coaching Honors: In football, won 2 State Championships, 3 Sectional Championships, 2 Regional Championships, 2 Semi- State Championships, and 5 Marion County Championships.
Outstanding Players Coached: Jeff George of Illinois, Curt Grelle of Northwestern, Dave Herrick of Michigan, and Jeff Willman of Evansville.
