Served as Plymouth's AD; helped to start cross country, baseball, tennis, and golf at Plymouth HS; served as a St. Joseph Valley Association official for all sports at the high school and college level; active in civic affairs; named a Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Bowen; served as mayor of Plymouth 1963-1967; worked with youth in some capacity for over 40 years.

Coaching Experience: Football coach at McKinley Junior High in Muncie, IN, with a record of 25-9-2; football coach at Plymouth HS with record of 77-29-2; also coached basketball and track.

Coaching Honors: Won 5 Conference Championships and had 1 undefeated season; Conference Coach of the Year.
