Coaching Honors: Class 3A State Runner-up 1988 and 1994; 2 Semi-State, 2 Regional and 5 Sectional Championships; won 15 conference titles; all-time winningest coach at Tipton (190-73); had 8 undefeated regular seasons; North All-Star coach 1988 and 1994; honored on Tipton High School's Wall of Fame; Kokomo Tribune Coach of the Year 1988 and 1993; Colts Coach of the Week 2002; coached 13 North All-Stars, including son Andy in 1999.
