Coaching Experience: Assistant coach at Marshall Junior High, Detroit, MI, 1960-1961; head varsity coach at Paoli 1962-1963; assistant varsity football and baseball coach at Hammond Gavit 1963-1966; assistant football, head wrestling and track coach at Kalamazoo College 1966-1967; assistant football, head wrestling, and assistant track coach at North Park College, IL, 1967-1969; assistant football, head wrestling, and golf coach at University of Evansville 1969-1973, with football team winning 3 Conference Championships; head football coach at Hammond Clark HS 1973-1979; head coach at Calumet HS 1986-1989; assistant coach in Houston, TX, at Aldine Eisenhower HS 1989-1992, winning first District Championship in school's history in 1989; head coach at Galveston Ball HS 1992-1997, earning Semi-State Finalist 1994 for first time in school's history; assistant at Baytown Lee HS 1997-2003, and returned as an assistant at Houston's Chavez HS 2003-2004; retired from coaching after 2003 season.
Coaching Honors: While in Indiana at Calumet, won first play-off game in school history and organized/developed first mandatory off-season conditioning program; at Clark, won first championship in 30 years and had best record in school history; at U of E won 3 Conference Championships.
