4-year letterman/starter; All-Big Ten 1984-1986; 1985 Pre-season Playboy All-American; 1986, Consensus All-American by AP, UPI, College and Pro Football Newsweekly, Football Forecast, Playboy, The Sporting News; named Jim Thorpe Award Runner-up 1986; Purdue's Male Athlete of the Year and Varsity Walk Award 1986-1987; among top 5 for several Purdue defensive records.
Inducted into Halls of Fame for Purdue University Intercollegiate Athletics 2003, College Football 2016, and Pro Football 2009; currently Raiders assistant defensive backs coach.
