A 21-year head coaching veteran with 14 of those years in the state of Indiana. He owns an over-all record of 229-65 (.779), eight Top-10 national rankings, four state championships and two state runner-up finishes as a head coach. He has coached four national players of the year, 39 All-Americans and 150 plus Division I student-athletes. At IMG in Bradenton, Fla., he went 44-2 in five campaigns. The program posted three-straight undefeated seasons (2015-2017), and 5 consecutive Top-6 National rankings. Eleven IMG alumni have been selected over the last four NFL drafts, including a first rounder in each of the past 4 seasons. He has coached 25 former NFL players. He guided Carmel High School to a 54-11 record and three state championship appearances with a title and No. 4 national ranking upon conclusion of the 2011 campaign. Kevin became the 5th coach in Indiana High School history to win state titles at two different schools. From 2003-2005, he led Warren Central to three-consecutive state titles. The 2005 team finished the season ranked 5th in the nation, and the warriors were ranked nationally for 4 consecutive years.
Kevin's father, Bud, is the winningest coach in Indiana High School history and one of the Top 15 all-time winningest coaches nationally.
Kevin and his wife Elizabeth, have one daughter Trinity, and one son, Will.
Kevin started his coaching career as an assistant at North Central High School in 1987. His first head coaching job was at Frankfort High School in 1991. He moved to Noblesville from 1992-1998. Kevin moved to Trinity (KY) in 1999. After one season, he became the head coach at Warren Central from 2000-2005. After 5 seasons at Warren, he moved to Union High School in Oklahoma. After one season, Kevin became the offensive coordinator at his Alma Mater, Western Kentucky University (2007-2008). He returned to high school coaching in the state of Indiana in 2010 when he became the head coach at Carmel High School. In 2015, He moved to Florida and became the head coach at IMG Academy. In 2020, Kevin became an assistant coach at Indiana University.
