Awarded Sagamore of the Wabash by Indiana Governor Evan Bayh 1996; named Director of Business Development for Colts in 1998; serves on Board of Directors for the Children's Bureau, Broken Wagon Ranch, PAL Club, and Speedway Exchange Club; has been a part of 4 USA National Wrestling Teams, member of two USA World Teams, and an alternate on both the 1980 and 1984 USA Greco Roman Olympic wrestling teams; won the Canadian, AAU, and USWF National Wrestling Championships; owns an undefeated record in 86 state, regional, and national power-lifting exhibitions since 1974; finished 2nd in 1993 Strongest Man in America Competition; owns and operates his own gym; author of Strength and Conditioning for Football and Then Some.
