Aside from sports, he was member of the Student Ambassador Organization, Chinese Culture Club, Pep Club and the Stamp Club. In addition, Kershner participated in several community service ventures along with volunteer activities.
During his time at Culver Military Academy, he thrived in the leadership program earning the rank of a Lieutenant while also serving in the Four-Gun Honor Organization.
Kershner was a four-year, three sport athlete, competing in football, baseball and swimming. He earned a total of six varsity letters during his athletic career, three of which were in football and established himself as a team leader in each sport. During his time as a student-athlete, he was named Defensive MVP, Golden Hammer Award winner and Mental Attitude.
Kershner plans to attend Butler University and study Business.
