3-year letterman on teams compiling 25-6 record; captain senior year; 2-time MVP, including MVP of first team to finish regular season with perfect record; was All-NIC 2 years; leading scorer and ground gainer in conference 2 years; NIC Player of Year senior year; leading scorer (145 points) in South Bend Tribune Metro area; WSBT Metro Offensive Player of Year; All-State 2 years; Bloomington Times-Herald Top 33 for 2 years; MVP in Region and selected to North-South All-Star Game; holds most rushing and scoring records at Mishawaka, including 2,925 career rushing yards and 45 career touchdowns.

4-year letterman, started at tailback junior year; played in Holiday Bowl freshman year and team finished #16 in nation; Academic All-Big 10 as sophomore, junior, and senior; ESPN Player of Game vs. Purdue as a junior; received Howard Brown Award for courage and dedication junior year; won the Ted Whereatt Scholastic Award senior year; Varsity Club Academic Achievement Awards junior and senior years.
Lecturer on rules and mechanics at IHSAA clinics; served 4 years as football chairman of St. Joseph Valley Official's Association; author of articles on rules changes for Indiana High School Football Guide; created video of interesting and unusual plays that was adopted by IHSAA; inducted into Mishawaka High School Athletic Hall of Fame first year of eligibility; an attorney in Mishawaka area.

Officiating Experience: Licensed by IHSAA in 1988, formed crew which was consistently highly rated by coaches votes (#6 in state 1998); advanced to officiating maximum number of tournaments allowed by IHSAA each year.Officiating Honors: Began working NCAA in 1994 and currently on staff of Division II Midwest Intercollegiate Football Conference; worked NCAA Division II Play-off game; worked one Big Ten game at Penn State in 1998 when Joe Paterno had his 300th win.
