Jay Cutler led the Heritage Hills High School football team to a perfect 15-0 record and the program's first and only 3A State Championship in the fall of 2000. Jay played at a high school that used the wishbone as its primary offense.
Vanderbilt University
After high school, Cutler received an offer to play quarterback at Vanderbilt Univeersity and went on to have an outstanding college career facing some of the best defenses in the country. After redshirting his freshman year, Cutler started 45 straight games at Vanderbilt, throwing for 8097 yards, 59 touchdowns and rushing for 1256 yards. In 2005, Jay was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Year and was a finalist for many National Awards (Johnny Unitas golden Arm Award, Maxwell Award, Davey O'Brien Award, Manning Award and Sammy Baugh Trophy Award).

In 2006, Cutler was drafted 11th overall (1st round) by the Denver Broncos and in 2008, he represented the Broncos and the AFC in the NFL Pro Bowl. Later that year, he was traded to the Chicago Bears. He led the Bears to the NFC Championship game during the 2010-2011 season and as of today, holds numerous Chicago Bears passing/QB records. In 2017, Cutler played in his final NFL season with the Miami Dolphins. In his NFL career (12 years), Jay Cutler started 153 games and completed 3,048 passes in 4920 attempts (62%) for 35,133 yards and 227 touchdowns. Jay's resume speaks for itself. He was a tough, talented kid from Santa Claus, Indiana who excited at the highest level of football.
