Became sales manager of a national manufacturing firm in 1957 that manufactured athletic clothing for high schools, colleges, universities, and professional sports; became president in 1962; innovated the material for double knit football pants, designed and produced with one and two color screen striping; innovated the material for the Sand-Aire jersey; designed and produced this jersey with one and two color screened numbers; helped design and then produce the mod colors full basketball uniform made from stretch nylon yarns.
