Past-president of the Indiana Football Coaches Association and a member for over 35 years; 1970-1971 BSU Alumnus Coach of the Year; elected to Ball State University Athletic Hall of Fame 1993; authored a book, History of the Indiana Football Coaches Association.
Wife, Maureen; daughter, Kelly; son, Dan; six grandchildren - Zachary, Austin, Noah, Owen, Dan, and Kristi.
Coaching Experience: Head coach at Hamilton Heights, Norwell, Bloomington South, and Warsaw; assistant coach at Greensburg HS; assistant coach at Indiana University; defensive coordinator at Northern Illinois University; assistant head coach at Ball State University.

Coaching Honors: Undefeated Conference Champions and Conference Coach of the Year 1970; coached in first high school play-offs in Indiana History 1973; South All-Star assistant coach 1974; coached Warsaw to first Northern Lakes Conference Championship in 15 years 1990, winning again in 1992; North All-Star assistant coach 1991; while at Ball State, team won MAC Championship and played in Las Vegas Bowl.
