Coaching Honors: ICC Football Coach of the Year 4 times; District 4 football Coach of the Year 1965-1967; National Runner-up Coach of the Year 1965; team played in Grantland Rice Bowl 1965, 1967; team was undefeated in 1965; ICC Baseball Coach of the Year 3 times.
