Meeks was selected to be an assistant coach in the 2005 Indiana North-South All-Star Game and received the distinction of being chosen as tthe head coach for the North All-Stars in 2015.
Meeks and his wife, Lynn, have two daughters, Chelsie and Mackenzie.
Since taking over the Rensselaer Central program in 1999, Chris has led the Bombers football program to 186 wins in 24 years as head coach as of his induction in 2023. Meeks currently ranks 20th among active Indiana high school football coachws in wins with a 186-100 record (65%). Only one coach in Indiana (Cory Yeoman - Penn) has more wins in fewer seasons than Meeks. His teams have had three undefeated regular seasons, six Hoosier Conference Championships, eight IHSAA Sectional Championships, four Regional Championships, one Semi-State Championship and the school's first State Championship in 2014, defeating Evansville Mater Dei, 45-21, capping a perfect 15-0 season. The Bombers have had at least 10 wins in seven of his 24 seasons at Rensselaer Central.
